BACKGROUND
First and foremost, I am a husband and father. My wife often helps in the studio with either creative ideas or setting up a shot. We have 2 young children who have helped broaden my style of shooting. Some of their photos are included on this website.
Having a passion for photography came at an early age via my father back in the 80s. My square-negative film camera and I were most known for taking vacations together with my dad and his camera. Since those days, my passion for photography has deepened largely in part due to the advancement of digital technology.
When choosing your photographer it is important to consider all the facts concerning their ability, talent, reputation etc. I am pleased to share with you not only Testimonials on my tab above but also should the need arise, I can provide additional community character references should you need them. While I realize this may not satisfy everyone, it is something I offer that many photographers do not. So please when calling or emailing, feel free to request this information. It is important to me that you feel comfortable with your photographer.
Over time, I developed 3 philosophies for my business that Id like to share with you:
EDUCATION
My undergrad education was at Cedarville University where I acquired a B.A. in Communications. My passion and other education comes from being self taught....reading books and websites or through trial and error. In 2002, I began shooting professionally. I have tens of thousands of family portrait sitting experiences not only from my own work but also from working with a church directory company for nearly 2 years.
TECHNOLOGY
I have always enjoyed using the latest technology. Recently I discovered Virtual Background Systems (VBS). For background requests not yet available in our studio or for submitting your own images to use, please allow 2 extra weeks prior to your session. A minimal $15 charge applies to each user submitted image background request to cover costs.
